Striking vintage semi-sheer floral fabric featuring vivid green roses and foliage on a black and deep green ground, accented with tan/gold leaves and floral details. The oversized roses and dramatic emerald/chartreuse green, black and earthy gold color palette have a wonderful 1970s aesthetic. This is a lightweight, very fluid and drapey fabric with a soft, floaty quality similar to a flowing vintage scarf. It is semi-sheer and would be beautiful in garments designed to move and drape. Fiber content is unknown; likely a synthetic or synthetic blend, possibly a chiffon or lightweight crepe-type fabric. Excellent for a flowing maxi dress, caftan, blouse, scarf, full sleeves, skirt or layered garment. Most dress and skirt applications would likely require a lining or slip because of the semi-sheer quality. Measures approximately 4 yards × 42” wide. Unused vintage yardage.
