Vintage Japan Silverplate Double Handle Sugar Bowl ~ Spoon or Swizzle Stick Bowl

Vintage Japan Silverplate Double Handle Sugar Bowl ~ Spoon or Swizzle Stick Bowl Great little small double-handled vessel perfect holding some demitasse spoons, appetizer picks, swizzle sticks, etc. Perfect item for adding some pizazz to your holiday events. Also suitable for it's original purpose of holding sugar, although the lid and spoon are no longer with it. Notch in interior rim, intentional to either accommodate lid or perhaps a small utensil. Marked Japan on underside. Presume silver-plated, no marking but looks to be. Handles with interesting animal head motif. Scrolled etched detailing along rim. Could use a bit of a clean up, but sort of has a nice patina as is. Could also use for non-food items such as pens, some make-up brushes or small art accessories. Maybe you have a few similar items and need just one more? Posting is for the bowl only. The image in the 1st pic is from the Shabby Chic book I have posted separately, bundle for discount!
