External 3.5-inch Floppy Disk Drive Sharp CE-FD05
10.00 $
Description
As pictured, this is an external 3.5-inch floppy disk drive (FDD unit).
It was originally an accessory for a Sharp Mebius (likely Windows XP or 98).
After disposing of the main unit, I used it externally with a Windows 7 PC, but that PC has also been disposed of.
When connected to my current Windows 11 PC, the drive is not recognized.
When connected to a Windows 10 PC, I was able to read and write, but not delete. (Each operation was performed only once.)
This is an old item and shows signs of dirt and scratches.
Please forgive any oversights, writing errors, omissions, incorrect information, or malfunctions.
